Lemi Abiodun Ghariokwu was born on December 26, 1955 in Agege, Lagos.
In the early 1980s, he was the consulting album cover designer for Polygram records in Nigeria. He has designed more than 2,000 albums in the last 39 years for other artists as well: Bob Marley, Kris Okotie, James Iroha, Gilles Peterson, Miriam Makeba, and Lucky Dube.
He designed 26 album covers for Fela Kuti.
