I come from a lineage of women who knew how to survive but not how to rest.
Who knew how to carry grief but never how to name it or heal from it.
They held everything in their hands—children, houses, bruises, secrets—
I come from women who cleaned the house before (and after) they cried.
Who stayed because they had to.
Who called silence strength and sacrifice love.
I carry them in my bones and in my blood.
And yet… I am not like them.
I am the first!
The first to say no.
The first to get educated.
The first to not hit back.
The first to seek rest, pleasure, understanding, and joy.
The first to let life flow through them.
The first to ask: What if love didn’t have to hurt?
What if softness didn’t mean weakness?
👀👀👀👀👀POV: You Broke the Cycle 👀👀👀👀👀
A Scorpio Full Moon Transmission on Power, Release, and Rising
(I’ve received requests to write more about the moon, shadow work, and witchy stuff, so please enjoy!!!)
You broke the cycle.
Not in a single moment, but slowly, through a thousand quiet revolutions.
In every boundary you set.
In every scream or cry you didn’t swallow down.
In every version of yourself you dared to outgrow.
You broke the cycle the first time you said, “this ends with me.”
And meant it.
You broke the cycle.
Not because you’re better.
Maybe you didn’t even mean to.
Maybe you were just too tired to repeat the same fight.
Maybe you accidentally said what you really felt.
But you were ready.
Because something ancient in you remembered:
You were not born to repeat this pain.
You were born to transmute it.
You were born to cast a new spell.
One where love doesn’t require self-sacrifice.
Where tenderness is not a liability.
Where power is not taken, but owned.
“The wound is the place where the Light enters you.”
—Rumi
This full moon in Scorpio is a spotlight on your shadows—but not to shame them. To free them. And in freeing them, to free you.
Scorpio is the sign of transformation, truth, and soul-deep release.
Under this moon, we’re not just asked to let go of people or patterns—we’re asked to shed identities that no longer fit. Roles we inherited from trauma. Stories we’ve outlived but keep repeating out of habit or fear.
This lunation sits in opposition to the Taurus sun, creating a pull between the familiar and the honest. Between comfort and evolution. You may feel emotional. You may feel raw. You may feel like your inner world is cracking open. That’s okay. Let it.
The pain surfacing now is not a red flag. It’s a doorway. A torch. A teacher.
You are not broken—you are becoming.
You are not failing—you are remembering.
Let it all fall apart: the expectations, the old personas, the shame, the scripts.
Whatever you're gripping that’s gripping you back—this is your sign. Let it go.
Release with reverence.
You don’t need to fix yourself.
You just need to tell the truth.
The truth is the spell.
Speak it.
Scream it.
Whisper it into the night air, and watch the stars conspire to meet you there.
As a Scorpio sun, Cancer moon, and Virgo rising, I know this terrain intimately.
I come from working-class women who survived what they never spoke of.
I come from lineages of silence and survival.
And I chose to break the spell.
Healing is not a straight line. It’s a spiral. It’s messy. It’s sacred. It’s worth it.
You are worth the risk.
—
I remember sitting at my grandmother’s kitchen table. Floral tablecloth. A bowl of something warm and canned. The soft hum of a TV in the next room playing reruns of people pretending to be happy. She never said it out loud, but you could feel it in the air—the unspeakable things she had endured and the even more unspeakable things she had passed down. Silence has a weight to it and damn, it’s heavy.
I asked her once if she ever felt angry. She looked at me like I was a ghost.
It took me years to understand that she had been taught not to feel. That she had been taught to carry. To bear. To protect her children by becoming stone. And when that didn’t work—when the pain spilled out anyway—she folded inward and called it strength.
I come from women like her.
And yet…I am not like her.
I am the spell she didn’t know she was casting.
I am the break in the line.
I am the daughter who learned to weep and wail and scream and leave.
I was told I was too sensitive.
Too much.
Too dramatic.
Too emotional.
They weren’t wrong. But they weren’t right either.
What they were really saying was:
“Your emotions threaten the silence that kept us safe.”
And maybe they did.
But silence never kept us safe.
It kept us stuck. poisoned. unwell.

This full moon in Scorpio is for the cycle breakers.
The ones who speak when silence would be easier.
The ones who name the pattern, grieve the loss, and still choose love.
Scorpio is not soft, though it can be intensely passionate.
Though classified as a water sign, Scorpio moves more like fire—transformative, and unrelenting.
It rules the eighth house, the domain of death, sex, rebirth, shared resources, and psychological depth. Scorpio is the sign of what lies beneath—beneath appearances, language, and the well-lit persona we present to the world. Scorpio is drawn to the underworld because it understands what most prefer to forget: that life is cyclical, and transformation often begins in decay.
The sting of Scorpio is not cruelty—it is precision. It severs what no longer serves, what has become toxic, parasitic, or false. In this way, Scorpio is the zodiac’s most devoted truth-teller. Not the soft truths of surface revelation, but the difficult, soul-level truths that must be excavated. Scorpio governs the kind of honesty that liberates but also devastates—the kind that destroys illusions and leaves only what is real.
To experience a Scorpio full moon is to stand at the threshold of your own undoing and choose, willingly or not, to pass through it. It represents the archetypal descent: into grief, desire, power, and self-knowing.
It calls to you:
Come as you are.
Bring the mess.
Bring the broken parts you’ve hidden from even yourself.
And then let them go. Not in shame, but in reverence.
Let it all burn.
And let what is true remain.
You are not here to carry your ancestors’ pain forever.
You are here to listen to it.
To learn from it.
This full moon invites you to become the alchemist of your own line.
To become the kind of ancestor who leaves behind healing, not harm.
Meditations + Prompts for Power & Return:
Light a candle. Get a warm drink. Whisper your name like it’s holy. Then write.
-What power have I been hiding?
How would it feel to wear it like a crown?
-Where am I being asked to let go, even if it feels terrifying?
What am I still clinging to that clings back?
-What does my inner world feel like when I trust it completely?
Describe your intuition as a landscape. A guide. A living spirit.
-Write about a time you felt guided, powerful, and unstoppable.
Let that memory be your mirror.
-What have I already survived that proves how resilient I am?
Let that energy charge your present and shape your future.
-What lesson might my current challenges be here to teach me?
If I did know, what would it be?
-If I believed everything was happening for my highest good...
What would my next step look like?
What energy would I move with?
Full Moon Meditations & Practices
These are invitations, not instructions. Choose what calls to you.
Water Ritual for Emotional Alchemy
Fill a bowl with water. Whisper your fears into it. Speak your pain. Your grief. The words you never got to say. Then pour it into the earth and say:
I release what was never mine to hold. I return to myself.
Mirror Gazing with the Moon
Look at your reflection by candlelight under the moon. Don’t flinch. Say out loud:
“I am here. I am holy. I am worthy of peace.”
Let your gaze soften. Let your soul catch up to your body.
Cord-Cutting with Compassion
Light a black or white candle. Write the name or belief or role you are releasing on paper. Burn it (safely). Say:
Thank you for what you taught me. I no longer need to carry you.
Visualize the energy returning to the earth, neutralized. You are no longer bound.
Somatic Release (Shake it out)
Put on music that makes you feel alive. Shake. Sway. Move the energy out of your limbs. Let your body do what it needs to do. Dance your grief. Dance your release. Let your body lead your healing.
Embodied Affirmations
(Say them out loud. Say them in the bath. Say them to the moon. Say them like you mean it.)
I am the one who ends the cycle.
I do not fear the dark. I was born from it.
My truth is not too much. It is medicine.
I grieve what I never got. And I give it to myself now.
I no longer perform for love. I become it.
I speak, I shed, I rise.
I trust what is falling away.
I am safe to release. I am safe to begin again.
My ancestors cheer me on every time I choose peace.
I am allowed to rest. I am allowed to be soft.
My power is not in pretending. It’s in presence.
I walk through this portal unburdened, unbound, and utterly free.
🌑Closing Spell🌑
Lie down. Close your eyes. Place your hand over your heart.
Visualize the moon—not above you, but within you.
Say quietly:
I am no longer who I was.
I honor what I’ve shed.
I trust what is rising.
I am the healed and the healing.
I am the one who broke the cycle. And I will not look back.
Let the silence after this be the altar. Let the stillness be your answer.
